I traveled to Chicago to speak about the challenges faced by people with sensory issues while visiting arts and cultural institutions. Other speakers included Lisa Carling of NYC's Theatre Development Fund's Autism Theatre Initiative.

Speaker at the STAR Institute's 19th International 3S Symposium - Seattle, Washington

 

I traveled to Seattle to host a plenary session, "Coming to My Senses: Perspectives on Living with SPD," helping attendees to understand SPD from an inside perspective. Other speakers and attendees included leading SPD researcher Dr. Elysa Marco; author of The Out-of-Sync Child series of books, Carol Kranowitz; and Dr. Lucy Jane Miller, Founder of the STAR Institute for SPD.
